Every decorating project is different. The condition of the surfaces, preparation required, repairs, woodwork, access and choice of finish can all affect the amount of work involved. Two rooms of the same size can require very different levels of preparation, so we price each project according to the work it actually needs — not a misleading one-price-fits-all figure.

Do you supply the paint and materials?
Yes. We can supply the paints and materials required for your project, selecting products to suit the surface, environment and finish required. If you already have a particular colour or product in mind, we can discuss this with you before work begins.
How far in advance should I book?
Availability varies throughout the year and depends on the size of the project. It is always worth getting in touch as early as possible, particularly for larger projects and exterior work, but shorter-notice availability can sometimes be possible.
Do I need to empty the room before work starts?
Not necessarily. We normally ask that smaller, fragile and personal items are removed before work begins. Larger furniture can often remain in the room where practical and will be moved or protected as required. Floors, furniture and surrounding areas are carefully protected before preparation and decorating begins.
How do you manage dust during preparation?
We use professional Mirka dust-extraction sanding equipment during mechanical preparation, capturing dust at source wherever possible. Combined with careful protection of the working area, this keeps your home significantly cleaner than conventional sanding methods while allowing us to prepare surfaces thoroughly.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking once the quotation is accepted. The remaining balance is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
