Peach Fuzz has been selected the Pantone Colour of the Year 2024. It is compassionate and loving.

Pantone 13-1023 Peach Fuzz was described by the Pantone Colour Institute as "softly nestled between pink and orange".

The Pantone company's trend-forecasting division is called the Pantone Colour Institute. The institution has selected an annual colour every year since 1999 because it believes it best captures the spirit of the moment and the year to come.

The soft Peach Fuzz, which celebrates the program's 25th anniversary, was the result of a study that was completed in 2023. Marking the 25th anniversary of the programme, the gentle Peach Fuzz was based on a culmination of research conducted throughout 2023.

The institute team observed "all areas of design" in addition to the entertainment sector, films that were in production, travelling art exhibits, up-and-coming designers, and the fashion industry. The warm, understated hue was picked because it "brings beauty to the digital world".

"At a time of turmoil in many aspects of our lives, the Pantone Colour of the Year 2024 expresses our need for nurturing, empathy and compassion as well as our imaginings and desire for a more peaceful future," said Laurie Pressman, vice president of the institute.
